Night falls softly on the weary earth,
While distant waves sing songs without a name.
Some sorrows never find the words to speak,
Yet leave their salt upon the lips of pain.
There are roses walking through the storm,
Fragile in their petals, steadfast at the core.
Behind each smile, a thousand winds may gather;
Behind each silence, hearts may ache for more.
Do we hear, amid the endless human tide,
A trembling soul searching for a hand?
One gentle word, one arm around a shoulder,
May help a wounded heart believe again.
II. A ROSE THAT WALKS THROUGH THE STORM
You are beautiful beyond the years,
Beyond the silver threads that time may weave.
Your beauty lives not merely in your features,
But in the love your brave heart still believes.
Cancer cannot name the whole of who you are,
Nor steal your dignity or worth.
A scar cannot erase the light within you;
One dark day cannot silence all the dawns on earth.
And when the road grows heavy beneath your feet,
When courage falters and the night feels long,
Lean on the arms of those who truly love you.
You do not have to face the storm alone.
III. LET THE PINK LIGHT SHINE
Let the pink light shine within your eyes;
Do not surrender to the fiercest rain.
Beyond the longest night, a dawn is waiting;
Beyond the tears, flowers bloom again.
Be gentle with yourself, dear heart;
Listen to your body, give your spirit room.
Reach out for care, for comfort, and for kindness;
Let hope find shelter where your roses bloom.
A word of love can warm a thousand winters;
A hand held tight can soften lonely hours.
We cannot promise life will spare us storms,
But we can walk together toward tomorrow.
IV. CONFESSIONS TO THE INFINITE WAVES
The waves keep moving, carrying all toward the sea;
Our gains and losses vanish like the foam.
What are the medals, titles, fleeting glories,
Compared with hearts that make the world a home?
I have seen the river nourish barren places,
Purple water hyacinths drift with the tide.
I have heard the songs of southern waters,
And felt the ache of love rise deep inside.
In Vietnam, the river swells, then gently recedes;
A mother’s lullaby crosses the evening air.
From such a song, one truth remains within me:
Love every human soul while you are here.
Life sometimes sinks like moonlight in dark water,
Like lonely smoke above an empty street.
Yet when one heart keeps even a small light burning,
The darkest night may turn to poetry.
V. A SONATA OF KINDRED SOULS
From Vietnam, let words of tenderness travel,
To Serbia, Morocco, Angola far away.
Our languages may differ on the page,
Yet one shared heartbeat leads us on our way.
A poem can become a little candle;
A song can flow like a river through the night.
When compassion crosses every border,
Strangers find a home in human light.
To every soul enduring its own tempest,
Receive these words with tenderness and grace.
You need not always be the strongest person;
Just keep one thread of hope within your embrace.
VI. ROSES LEFT TO HUMANITY
And if the waves should carry us to distant shores,
May kindness be the memory we leave behind.
Let pain not turn to silence and isolation;
Let no one stand abandoned by humankind.
Care for yourself, and care for those beside you;
Give one small kindness freely every day.
For sometimes miracles are quiet things:
A faithful presence, a hand that chooses to stay.
I leave these verses with the world before me,
A rose that will not fade beneath the rain.
Though storms may rise and shadows cross the heavens,
Where love survives, the light returns again.
Not every flower needs the golden sun to bloom;
Some flowers make the world more beautiful
Simply by standing firm against the storm.

(Solidarity with women facing breast cancer, dignity beyond physical appearance, self-care, resilience, compassion, and humanity across borders.
To every woman walking courageously through the storm, and to every heart that chooses compassion over indifference).
