Of painters too young to recall
Ruined walls splashed with blood at the Citadel.
Thousands died in the Battle of Hue.

Weep and ache in shame and dismay

Tận bên kia thế giới, lớp hồn oan
Còn khóc lóc trong đớn đau thê thảm
Bốn mươi năm sau thuở cố đô tan.
